Associate Spotlight: Zack and Chantaya
Swagelok Northwest (US) has some impressive associates in our ranks. From marathon runners, to professional deep sea fishing. Our associates live incredible lives. The Associate Spotlight series aims to highlight the talented individuals who work here. Each month, we’ll be featuring an interview here on the blog and on our social accounts.
For this month’s Associate Spotlight, we’re featuring: Zack Turner, an Inside Sales Representative and Chantaya FitzHenry, a Customer Service Representative, both based out of our Portland branch!
What have you learned in the last week?
Zack: Ahhh oh man. I've learned that a lot of people were not as prepared as they thought they were to take on this new challenging lifestyle.
Who is the wisest person you've ever met?
Chantaya: Oh my gosh. Alright can we just get really cheesy for a minute... Although you know what? My kids are super wise, but, my parents are really wise... I don't know... I'm going to have to go with Michelle (fellow customer service representative), she drops some serious truth bombs on me sometimes, and I'm just like - Who are you? Where did you come from?
Would you rather fight 100 duck-sized horses or 1 horse-sized duck?
Zack: Oh give me the one on one with the duck, that would be kind of fun to see.
What is your spirit animal?
Chantaya: If I really get into a comfortable environment I'm going to be a happy puppy... I want to play, I want to be outside, I want all of your attention, and I just want to make you happy... And If I get too excited, I might pee.
What is your favorite family tradition?
Zack: My favorite family tradition is being with the family during a holiday... I think that's going to have to be it... Either Thanksgiving or Christmas, no matter what we're always together. Making the time to be selfless and putting others in front, and say yup, no matter what happens I'm always going to be with some sort of family celebrating the moment.
Favorite movie of all time?
Chantaya: Oh gosh... Top Gun
